Steven P. Grant, Esq. is a veteran Trial Lawyer with a career concentration in personal injury law. In August, 2007, Judge Grant joined with George N. Longworth, Esq. to form the firm of Grant and Longworth, LLP. Previously, Judge Grant maintained a private practice in Bronx County since 1995. He focused on representing seriously injured clients who were victims of motor vehicle accidents, construction and work-related accidents, and falldowns. Judge Grant has helped hundreds of injured people win millions of dollars in compensation. Earlier in his career, he worked as trial counsel to prominent Personal Injury firms and to Insurance Companies. Judge Grant was admitted to the New York State Bar in March, 1984; he was admitted to the United States District Court in the Southern District in November, 1984; he was admitted to the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District in December, 1984; and to the Supreme Court of the United States in October, 1992.

Judge Grant was elected Village Justice of the Village of Dobbs Ferry, New York in March, 2003, after being appointed by the Mayor and Board of Trustees there to fill an unexpired term as Justice in January, 2002. His present term is effective through November, 2009.

Judge Grant was graduated with Honors from New York University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City in 1983.

Judge Grant is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, New York State Magistrates Association, Westchester County Magistrates Association, Westchester County Bar Association and Bronx County Bar Association.
